Log into your account and go to Credit My Account (tab at bottom of screen). Register your bank account debit card and deposit £150 - this cash will then be immediately available to trade with. Now go to the Popular Markets tab (top of screen) between the hours of 08:00 and 16.30 Monday to Friday (these are the FTSE opening hours during which the spread (buy/sell price difference) is just 2 - if you can only trade outside of these times then that's OK but you will lose just a couple of pounds more on the trades). You are going to make two really quick small trades on the FTSE Rolling Daily - buy and immediately sell - giving the market no time to move, thereby reducing the risk to almost nothing. So read the following and then execute. In the FTSE Rolling Daily row, enter 1 in Stake and click Trade. Click Buy and complete the trade. Then straight away go to Open Positions (tab at bottom of screen) where you will see your trade. Click close / sell and complete the trade, thereby closing the bet. Go to Account Summary where you should typically see that it cost you just £2 (if the market did move between your buy and sell it could be slight more or less than this).
